Who can attend Regional Group Meetings?

All members are welcomed and encouraged to attend their VASSP Regional Group meetings. Regional Groups are facilitated by the Field Officer who takes care of that particular region of Victoria. However, the meetings are run by members for members.

What Do I Have to Do in Order to Attend?

Simply – be a member! If you wish to attend your Regional Group Meeting, please contact your Field Officer, or send us an email and we will get you in touch with your group.

Attending your VASSP Regional Group is an immensely valuable means of broaden your professional network, and of gaining instant access to the collective support and knowledge of a group of fellow leaders in your region.

What Happens at Regional Group Meetings?

Many activities take place via Regional Group meetings, including:

  • professional development sessions
  • facilitated and unfacilitated workshops
  • group-initiated projects aimed at addressing local needs, or improving some aspect of school management or education that is specific to the geographic region.

What if I Live in a Rural Region?

Rural members, in particular, find Regional Groups to be of tremendous value. If you are a rural member, we strongly encourage you to connect with your Regional Group.
